Wells Creek
Heard that Wells Creek was open again after 5 years of bullshit and headed up for our favorite hike. Cougar Divide Trail is at the end of Wells Creek
Road at an elevation of 4900 feet. The trail is not marked and isn't maintained anymore so it has a lot of obstacles. It is 3.58 miles to the
ridgeline that goes up on Baker. It only gains 1,000 feet but there are many steep ups and downs. Regardless, it is worth the pain which we both
are suffering right now.
