The trip was well worthwhile.  Our drive back to Boulder City was also a little hard to navigate but we finally made it.

One comment.  Our drive trying to find the road to the park was not pretty in some places because of the horrible amount of trash thrown alongside the road. Everything from old cars to mattresses.  It was disgusting.

Tomorrow we will try to head north while averting the city of Las Vegas if it is possible.
September 28th.  Headed north on the same road we came back on yesterday.  Just a nice two lane 50 mile an hour jaunt.  Stopped at Redstone Dune Trail so Lauresa could pick up some more rocks We finally hit Interstate 15 and traveled for20 miles and finally found another back road to travel.  Surprisingly, we started to run into lots of Joshua Trees.  Traveled through awesome high country and came down off one pass and there was a ridgeline of solid red rocks ahead of us. We were in the Piute Reservation at that time.  Then came to the prettiest town called Santa Clara and at George turned up Highway 18 north.  We were back in Utah at this time.  Somewhere near the City of Enterprise we again turned on to a back road and soon ran out of pavement and traveled 20 miles until we found a place to set up the trailer for the night in the woods.

September 29th.  Traveled the same dirt road for 10 miles and came out on Hwy 56.  Turned left and drove to a small town called Panaca to refuel and get some groceries.  Then backtracked on Hwy 56 and went all the way to Cedar City, Utah.  Turned then on Hwy 130 and then on Hwy 21 at Milford and then turned around and took Hwy 21 all the way to Beaver where we camped at a KOA.

October 1st.  Went up Hwy 153 out of Beaver.  A beautiful ride that ended up on a dirt road for 15 miles.  Upon reaching 10,000 feet once again the whole mountaintop was meadows for miles.  But what goes up must come down, so we bounced in 2nd gear all the way to the bottom and finally the pavement.  Turning on Hwy 89 south, we drove to the turn off to Bryce Canyon National Park.  The park was crowded but it was something else to see.
