Valley of Fire State Park, NV

September25th.  Got an early start and went up to a trailhead and hiked up the mountain and then down into a canyon.  We hiked round trip about 6 miles.  When we got back to the truck it was 97 degrees.  HOT!!!

September 26th.  Left New Mexico and headed back into Arizona.  We needed to stock up on groceries and do laundry.  Stayed at the RV park in St. Johns again.

September 27th.  Left St. Johns early and took 180 west to Interstate 40 and headed west.  I’ve never seen so many trucks.  It was a busy road.  The same applies to trains.  Those tracks must have been red hot.  We stopped in flagstaff to get groceries and then headed west again.  Reached Boulder City Nevada at 1700 hrs.  It was 97 degrees.

September 28th.  We decided to stay a day and unhooked the truck from the trailer and went looking for Valley of Fire State Park.  Well we drove and rambled and got somehow into the middle of beautiful Las Vegas.  We drove some more and somehow found the road to the park and drove on.  Valley of the Fire is a must see.
